Rob Runyan works work on the public affairs team with the National Democratic Institute – an international nongovernmental organization that supports democracy around the developing world – and as
communications director for Stik.com – a San Francisco-based social commerce startup that is using Facebook to connect consumers with trusted sales professionals.
Rob received his master's degree at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. He covered legal issues, elections and youth engagement in Medill's bureaus in Chicago and Washington, D.C. He also wrote about environmetal issues in the 2008 election as one of Medill's 10 Carnegie/Knight News21 Fellows.
Rob hails from Detroit, Mich., but now lives in Washington, D.C.
